Jamie Sorley is the founder of Sorley Law, PLLC in Plano, Texas. Jamie specializes in assisting clients with implementing effective privacy and security compliance programs, conducting incident response, and navigating government investigations. Prior to entering private practice, Jamie served nine years with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, the federal agency responsible for HIPAA enforcement. Jamie also served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney. She currently serves as a KnowledgeNet Chair for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and is an officer of the Dallas Bar Association’s Science and Technology section.
